Platteville was one of six towns in Colorado that hosted the “Journey Stories” exhibit, a Smithsonian Institution, six-week, tour at the Platteville Public Library, and at the Platteville Pioneer Museum.

The display examined how migration and transportation helped the nation develop into modern day and how the mobile world looked to travelers back in the day.
